What are these training materials?
These training materials have been created within the framework of the project “MAMMOth Multi-Attribute, Multimodal Bias Mitigation in AI Systems” (MAMMOth) project by the University of Groningen with the goal of raising awareness about AI bias and supporting related knowledge construction. However, the training activities and resources can be useful for all those who need to strengthen and broaden their knowledge on the topic.
What are these training materials useful for?
These training materials are addressed at professional development training of university lecturers across disciplines, introductory lectures to AI ethics classes, science cafes, workshops, exhibits or masterclasses relating to the existence of AI bias and its implications. Furthermore, the materials include educational activities about AI bias designed for the general public, including families and young children (5-12).
